Melissa Gibson Smith
Founder, Liberant Ministries
Melissa Gibson Smith is a creative coach, entrepreneur, and pastor who has spent over 16 years ministering at the intersection of faith and artistry. Licensed and ordained through the Apostolic Network of Global Awakening, she serves as Senior Pastor at Grace Community Church while dedicating her primary focus to nurturing creative communities. She is also the founder of Epiphany Space, a global online community for creative professionals.
Melissa is gifted in helping people discover their God given identity and hear God's voice. Her trauma informed, holistic approach addresses the emotional, physical, and spiritual blocks that impact both life and creativity.
In 2025, she launched Liberant Ministries to provide discipleship and spiritual resources for Christian artists and creative entrepreneurs. Through Liberant, she offers Free to Create, available both as a transformative one day intensive and an in depth masterclass series. The intensive helps participants reconnect with their creative spirit, remove creative blocks, and discover their identity as God's masterpiece. The masterclass series goes deeper, exploring healing, how to hear God's voice, and co creating with God.

Matt has been involved in some sort of Christian activity for over 25 years now. He did not grow up in the Christian faith but came to know Jesus later in life. After getting more involved in college ministry he began to discover who God is and discover the community of those who also were seeking after God. He has since known the nearness of God, the distance of God, God through community, and God in the stillness alone. In these seasons he has been a pastor, a missionary, and a spiritual director. He obtained his Masters of Divinity and Masters of Theology from the Talbot School of Theology. He is a proud dog dad and has been living in Southern California for over 20 years. Although he doesn't yet get to do it full time, he enjoys expressing his creative nature through cooking and cinematography.
Matt offers spiritual coaching through one hour sessions that can be scheduled as a one time thing or as ongoing. These sessions are intended to engage with your current spiritual life and to provide guidance for you in your journey, no matter where in the journey you currently find yourself.
